About the Role

The Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid position within Bridgestone Americas, serving as a key pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. This role is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through needs assessment, product recommendations, and timely completion of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Sales: Provide top-notch customer service, resolve customer issues, and meet sales targets.
  • Basic Vehicle Service Tasks: Perform entry-level vehicle services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Store Operations: Assist with store opening and closing procedures, maintain inventory, and ensure displays are well-maintained.
Growth and Development Opportunities
  • Leadership Development: Assist managers or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances to support development and growth.
  • Store Operations Knowledge: Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front and back shop tasks to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Valid automobile driver's license.
  • Customer Service Mindset: Demonstrate a customer-centric approach and a growth mindset.
  • Basic Vehicle Service Knowledge: Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
  • Store Systems Knowledge: Ability to learn and operate store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: 2-year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other exhibiting a growth mindset.
  • Previous Experience: Previous consumer retail sales experience, automotive experience, or management/supervisory experience.
