About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing tax advisory services to our clients in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision for pass-through and C-corporation entities with a focus on insurance clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
  • Represent Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community, promoting our expertise and services.
  • Participate in the proposal process for new clients, showcasing our capabilities and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of technical guidance for internal and external publication, as well as internal learning and development.
  • Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting tax, including technical tax consulting and research.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree.
  • Insurance industry experience.
