Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to donors, ensuring a positive experience and a thank you for their donations.
  • Donation Processing: Greet donors at their vehicle and assist in unloading acceptable donations in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Appearance and Attire: Maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to Goodwill's Dress Code, including issued items such as DSC vests.
  • Record Keeping: Prepare records and reports as requested, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Keep supervisor informed of problems and suggestions related to the job, promoting a collaborative and solution-focused work environment.
  • Donation Sorting: Sort donations according to current Goodwill requirements, ensuring that donations are secure and properly sorted indoors.
  • Work Environment: Keep the donation area neat, clean, and orderly, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintenance: Ensure equipment is in good working order, reporting any maintenance or safety discrepancies to your supervisor immediately.
  • Accuracy: Maintain an accurate count of donors on the DSC Worksheet, ensuring accurate records and reports.
  • Training and Development: Attend department, organization, and other meetings/training as required, staying up-to-date on policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain agency confidentiality, adhering to Goodwill's confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Compliance: Comply with all health, safety, and fire standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check.
  • Availability: Part-time positions may be available.
