Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Care Support Specialist to join our team at IHS Markit in Houston. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing technical and content support to our customers, resolving complex inquiries, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or other communication channels
  • Resolve complex customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve information quality and system issues
  • Assist customers with installations and application functionality
  • Develop and deliver educational content for clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geology, or related technical/earth science degree
  • Typically two years of experience in customer care or relevant technical support role
  • Strong PC and network troubleshooting skills
  • Previous experience with IHS Markit PowerTools or FieldDIRECT products preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
