Position Overview:
Educational Background & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in non-profit financial management is highly valued.

Core Competencies:
Financial Management:

Maintain precise financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately documented.


Financial Reporting:
Generate regular financial statements, reports, and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial reporting.

Grants and Funding Management:
Assist in the preparation of budgets for grant proposals, monitor grant funds, and ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting obligations.

Tax Compliance:
Prepare and submit annual tax returns while staying updated on tax laws and regulations applicable to non-profit organizations.

Audit Coordination:

Organize and prepare documentation for annual financial audits, collaborating closely with external auditors to ensure adherence to audit standards.


Internal Controls:

Record and acknowledge contributions from donors, maintaining accurate donor records for transparency and stewardship.
