Role SummaryAs an Automotive Technician Level B, you will be an essential part of our service team, responsible for upholding the highest standards in vehicle maintenance and repair. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mechanical inspections of vehicles to assess safety and performance, documenting all findings accurately.
- Perform comprehensive repairs and part replacements, focusing on light to medium mechanical issues.
- Maintain a professional dealership appearance, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all customers.
- Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify that all issues have been resolved.
- Be prepared to work outdoors and adapt to varying weather conditions as needed.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing cooling, braking, charging, steering/suspension, AC, and electrical systems.
- Possession of a clean driver's license.
- Completion of automotive secondary education is advantageous.
- Strong technical skills in automotive repair.
- Ownership of personal tools is required.
- Experience with shop equipment, including lifts, welders, scanners, and brake lathes.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Good vision and hearing capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to treating each vehicle with care and respect.
- Quick learner with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Professional interaction with customers, managers, and colleagues.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
- Frequent physical movement, including bending, lifting, and reaching, is required.
- Capability to perform quality inspections of your work and that of peers.
