Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Designer to join our team at Jacobs, supporting a program in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This program will enable the Government to obtain subject matter expertise and highly technical assistance in building and maintaining prototype and niche analytics and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visually stunning and simple user interfaces for applications that drive customer mission, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, outreach, and product owners, to fulfill the complex demands of new modern applications.
- Work with other user experience designers to reinvent important applications, helping to redefine how users work and drive business growth.
- Ensure the aesthetic quality of the application is only rivaled by the ease of use, meeting the highest standards of user experience.
- Focus on developing a frontend using current technology, such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, in support of new applications currently being developed.
- Help drive the vision of the application from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Strong JavaScript, CSS, HTML skills, with experience in Agile Development environments.
- Experience with UI frameworks, such as Vue or D3, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Java, analytic development, or related fields.
- Experience with Docker, Gitlab, or other DevOps tools.
- Experience with government unclassified AWS development.
