About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC setup technician to join our team at a well-established US-based manufacturer. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CNC programs for various machines using G-code and other programming languages.
  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best manufacturing methods.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce complex parts with high precision.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a CNC set-up tech or machinist.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as G-code and experience with CNC machines such as Mori and Fanuc.
  • Experience with lathes, horizontal and vertical mills.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Renishaw probing systems and tooling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments.
