Job Summary:

The Mental Health Association of Westchester Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CASAC Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinical team, you will provide comprehensive behavioral counseling and education to clients with co-occurring disorders. Your expertise in integrated treatment approaches will enable you to address the complex needs of our clients, promoting their overall well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform integrated screening and identification of co-occurring issues, including mental health, substance use, brain injury, and trauma.
Assess clients for MAT eligibility and determine appropriate levels of care and treatment settings.
Develop integrated treatment plans that address clients' physical health, mental health, cognitive functioning, and psychosocial needs.
Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, referring clients to alternative treatment and support services as needed.
Maintain clinical records in compliance with regulatory bodies and MHA Westchester policies.

Requirements:

NYS Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) certification or CASAC-T Certification required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of one year of providing substance use disorder treatment services.
Computer proficiency, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) mastery.
Valid Driver's License and pre-employment clearances as required.
