Job Title: Senior Payroll Consultant

As a Senior Payroll Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their payroll needs, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for clients, including multi-state payroll and registrations, payroll tax filings, and client support for payroll functions.
  • Support a large and diverse client base with all facets of payroll processing, including benefits deductions, workers' compensation, leave management, employee onboarding, and policy administration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives and decision-makers within each client organization, communicating effectively on projects related to payroll support, issues, and deliverables.
  • Practice advanced communication skills, adhering to HR Outsourcing group principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely client support for payroll functions.
  • Deliver exceptional service on time and on budget, providing timely updates, identifying and resolving issues, and escalating them to Senior Consultants and/or Managers as needed.
Requirements:
  • College-level studies in Human Resources, Payroll, or Business Consulting, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll-related job responsibilities.
  • Experience and proficiency in various industry-related software, including payroll processing programs, benefits portals, and/or others as needed, with the ability to generate specialized computer reports and schedules with some direction.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet operational deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for professional interactions with vendors and clients, both in writing and verbally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PHR or SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP, or CPP (or other relevant professional certification) preferred.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position is $86,250 - $132,250. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
