We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor II to join our Internal Audit team at Umpqua Bank. As an Auditor II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct data analytics and risk assessments to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhanced controls and processes.
- Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to provide data-driven insights to audit teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements and other reporting.
- Collaborate with internal audit team members and other departments to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and relevant data analysis.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, information technology, or related technical field or equivalent operational/technical experience in Audit, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Information Technology, or Banking Operations.
- 2-4 years of banking experience, regulatory compliance, and/or in internal or external audit, business operations or technology, or SOX.
- General familiarity with banking and financial services regulatory requirements, such as FDIC, FRB, CFPB, FINRA, etc.
- Proficient knowledge of accounting and finance, risk assessment, internal control, and auditing concepts/methods.
We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $61,000.00-$90,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors.
