Job Summary:

Piedmont HealthCare seeks a skilled Medical Technologist, PRN to perform laboratory procedures with accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory science and be certified by a recognized agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform laboratory testing on patients of all ages using professional knowledge of laboratory procedures.
  • Execute, interpret, and analyze laboratory results in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Meet the minimum education and certification requirements for a medical technologist.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus sufficient college and/or technical school courses and clinical training.
  • Bachelor's Degree in clinical laboratory science, biomedical science, or a life/biological science preferred.
  • Certification as a medical technologist or medical laboratory scientist by a recognized agency, such as ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
