Overview:
Worlds of Fun is looking for experienced electrical maintenance technicians to become part of our dedicated team.

In this position, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of the electrical systems throughout the amusement park, which includes, but is not limited to, lighting, facility electrical systems, and various other electrical components as required.


Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties and

Responsibilities:
To install and maintain the electrical systems associated with the park's attractions and equipment, including lighting.

Utilizing blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, you will perform general electrical tasks:

changing transformers, running conduit, and pulling wire using a variety of hand and power tools along with standard measuring instruments.

Conduct standard shop calculations related to the dimensions of work. Select appropriate materials necessary for the tasks. Welding and soldering skills are preferred for a seamless transition into the role. A comprehensive understanding of the National Electricians' Code is essential. Ability to work with varying voltages up to and including 13,000 volts. Basic analytical skills are necessary to organize workload and establish priorities. Ability to read materials (including blueprints and drawings) to interpret and analyze content. Ability to write clearly to explain or describe tasks. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 75% of work activities.

Qualifications:
Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:
Associate Degree (2-year College or Technical School)
Years of Related Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work from ladders, lifts, and platforms.
Must be able to read electrical schematics, charts, diagrams, and blueprints. Must be able to identify electrical wires by color.
Complex Problem Solving

Identifying complex issues and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Ability to work a schedule that includes early mornings, nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV,

previous employment, education, and personal references, per company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
Valid state Driver's License

Physical Requirements:


Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
