Job Overview

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing terminal functions, which encompass client relations, scheduling, workforce management, financial oversight, safety protocols, and achieving production targets on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.

Compensation Range: $75,750 - $107,900

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary liaison for clients.
  • Leads a team of supervisors and operational staff.

  • Oversees yard management and planning.

Supervisory Role

This role includes direct supervision of staff.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a well-lit, climate-controlled office and production area, as well as in outdoor settings with appropriate protection from weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

Involves light physical activity and the ability to perform non-strenuous administrative or technical tasks. Manual dexterity is necessary for handling various items.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time role with a standard schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, typically during daytime hours. Overtime may be required.

Travel Requirements

Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) may be necessary.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or one to two years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills

Intermediate proficiency in personal computer applications, including email, database management, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

Security Clearance

Eligibility to obtain a TWIC badge (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is required.
