About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company. As a Nuclear Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, construction, and operation of nuclear power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
  • Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
  • Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Westinghouse customers.
  • Perform standard nuclear design reload calculations using the calc note template, following METCOM guidance, and consulting with co-authors, functional leads, and mentors.
Requirements
  • BS in Nuclear Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
  • Applicable experience preferred.
  • Prior internship experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience with technical engineering projects and/or research is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude required.
  • Passion for technical design and analysis.
  • Eagerness to learn and master engineering software.
