Pharmacist Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team at HealthCare Support. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services
  • Manage and optimize cost management in line with script counts
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive deal closures and organic growth
  • Ensure compliance with state and/or federal regulations and laws governing financial and pharmacy operations
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff to achieve operational excellence
Requirements:
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in Rhode Island
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
  • Previous management/sales experience is ideal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
