Job Summary

As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the NICU at Loma Linda University Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of critically ill newborns
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Conduct thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and evaluate patient data
Document patient information accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and post-discharge care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines

Requirements

Master's degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
Completion of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent experience
Current California RN license and NP certification
Minimum three years of experience in a pediatric or neonatal critical care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
