CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

LMT Onsrud is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating machinery, inspecting parts, and conducting regular machine adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate CNC machinery independently, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts according to specifications, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular machine adjustments, change tools as needed, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and work areas.
• Set-Up Functions: Meet all operator requirements, set up machinery based on blueprints and programs, and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
• Technician Functions: Develop machine programs for various tools and CNC work centers, assist in implementing new processes and methods, and troubleshoot procedures for improvements.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, experience with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, and basic machine operation skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English.
