As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will provide clerical support to the Finance team and assist with various financial tasks, including processing dealer rebates and sales spiffs, voucher accounts payable invoices, and assisting the Credit team with finance approvals and cash application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support to the Finance team, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Process dealer rebates and sales spiffs for payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Voucher accounts payable invoices into the system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist the Credit team with finance approvals and cash application, providing support and guidance as needed.
Additional Opportunities
  • Observe and assist with the month-end financial close process, gaining valuable experience and knowledge.
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts and audits, developing skills in inventory management and analysis.
Requirements
  • Must have completed at least the sophomore year of college, majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to learn and grow throughout the experience.
  • Must be self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires organization skills and flexibility to handle multiple projects and priorities throughout the day.
  • Background in manufacturing practices is desirable, but not required.
Work Environment

This position requires sitting, standing, and working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 90% of the day. Occasionally, you may work in a hot, humid manufacturing environment.

This is an 8-hour per day position, starting at 8am. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
