Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a skilled Hospice Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for educating healthcare professionals, patients, and families about our home care services.
Responsibilities- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices
- Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation
- Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals
- Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals
- Meet short and long-term target account goals
- Document sales calls and maintain a complete record of targeted referral sources
- Attend community events to promote Amedisys
- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance
