Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) team. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess, coordinate, and plan patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and time-management skills
