Automation Technician

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team in Corsicana, TX. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of automation equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth operation of equipment and minimize downtime.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in automation and controls to improve equipment performance and efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation and controls, mechanical, or electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles and their applications in automation equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
