Company Overview:
Sooner Medical is in search of committed Event Medical Response Specialists to deliver first aid and emergency medical assistance at a range of local events. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the health and well-being of attendees during diverse occasions, such as sports competitions, concerts, and other entertainment events.

Compensation:
  • Starting at $15 per hour, based on certification and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prompt and effective first aid and emergency medical care to event participants.
  • Evaluate and prioritize medical situations to provide appropriate care, including administering basic treatments such as aspirin for headaches, vomit bags for nausea, and bandages for minor injuries.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of injuries and illnesses to determine the necessity for further medical intervention or transport to a healthcare facility.
  • Maintain precise documentation of medical treatments administered and patient evaluations.
  • Collaborate efficiently with fellow medical personnel, security teams, and event organizers to ensure a coordinated response to medical emergencies.
  • Comply with all protocols, guidelines, and regulations pertaining to emergency medical services and patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or a higher level of medical certification (e.g., Paramedic).
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in emergency medical services, event medical coverage, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
