About the Role

TidalHealth is seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the transportation services they need to access our cancer treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange transportation for patients in need at our cancer treatment facilities
  • Collaborate with our social work team, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transportation companies, local health departments, and other organizations to provide patients with a range of transportation options
  • Provide administrative support for our facilities, including coordinating communications, registering patients, and maintaining financial information
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years secretarial experience required, with experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office computer programs, practice management systems, and spreadsheets preferred
