Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power Generation Field Service Technician to become a vital part of our team specializing in power generation solutions.

Sign-On Bonus: $5000

Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will contribute significantly by:

- Performing preventive maintenance and basic repair tasks on generators or their components at client locations with minimal oversight.

- Interacting with clients in a respectful and professional manner.

- Utilizing specialized tools and adhering to established procedures and policies to diagnose and execute basic repairs, including preparing necessary parts and tools.

- Completing essential documentation, such as service reports, timesheets, and warranty claims, either through handwritten forms or business system input screens.

- Participating in training aligned with skill development and business needs.

- Complying with all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and regulations, and reporting any issues or incidents to your supervisor.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

- Comprehensive mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance skills.

- Experience with High Voltage and Low Voltage systems.

- Capability to perform electrical repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision, with hands-on experience in power generation products.

- Technician Level II: Some relevant technician experience; qualified to work on an intermediate range of products; primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair tasks; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requiring limited direct supervision, and may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians.

- Significant relevant technician experience; qualified to work on most or all products; frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair; requires minimal to no supervision; ability to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians with varying skill sets.

- A valid local driving permit.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary will be based on experience.   • A current valid license is required for this role.
  • This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.
  • This role requires the applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
  • 3 years of driving experience is necessary.
  • This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.
  • Federal law mandates that a CDL holder must be 21 years of age or older; applicants must meet this age requirement.
