Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and quality control data
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification in Radiography (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB)
  • 1+ year of experience in CT scanning or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
