Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Precision Welding Craftsman to join our team at Align Production Systems in Decatur, IL. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality welded assemblies, following customer specifications and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality welded assemblies using various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Work independently with limited supervision, managing time and resources to meet production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
