Job Overview

As a Terminal Associate at PrideNow, you will be an integral part of our cement terminal's day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth loading and unloading of cement products, maintaining terminal equipment, and managing customer orders with precision and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Operations: Participate in all aspects of terminal operations, including loading and unloading cement from railcars or bulk trucks.
  • Customer Order Management: Coordinate bulk loading with customer drivers and sales personnel, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on terminal equipment, including silos up to 100 feet tall.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain facility cleanliness and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and participate in weekly safety meetings and job analyses.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; previous experience in cement or related industries is a plus, with maintenance experience highly preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proven mechanical and electrical ability, with welding experience a plus; strong organizational and communication skills, technical proficiency with computers, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in dusty environments, comfortable working at heights up to 135 feet, and flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
