Dayspring Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring the smooth delivery of our educational programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to formulate and implement the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes across the organization, implementing best practices and performance metrics to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, affiliates, and the Dayspring Academy Board of Directors.
Additional Responsibilities
  • New Construction/Facilities Supervisor: Assist the CEO and Board in construction/public utility matters, working with state agencies, school district, county, and local municipality on all construction, permitting, and site usage issues.
  • IT Services: Oversee the IT Coordinator to evaluate education, managerial, and administrative operating systems, assist with plans to improve operational efficiency, and provide assistance and support as needed by Information Technology services.
  • Transportation Supervisor: Keep the CEO informed about departmental functions and concerns, assure safe, adequate, and efficient transportation for learners, and communicate effectively with a variety of personnel.
  • School Safety and Security Program: Oversee and assist in implementing campus safety guidelines, direct and implement State/District requirements on all campuses, and coordinate training for team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or above from an accredited institution; Master degree is a plus.
  • Three (3) years minimum experience in Facilities, Administration, and/or Supervision.
  • Experience in Contract Administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to accomplish projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
