Financial Leadership Opportunity

Bayfront Health Port Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with a proven track record of success in an acute care environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Providing financial leadership and guidance to hospital managers and directors
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to the planning and implementation of new services and revenue-generating initiatives
  • Managing costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 12 credit hours earned in Accounting from an accredited institution.

Minimum 5 years of financial/accounting progressive managerial experience in an acute care environment is required, with recent for-profit acute care hospital CFO experience highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff and community, and maintain confidential information concerning personal, financial, or medical matters.
