Your Role: As a vital member of our advanced multi-modal search unit, you will contribute significantly to the evolution of efficient AI solutions tailored for a multi-modal future at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize high-throughput, cost-effective data pipelines essential for feature extraction and indexing within our expansive Information Retrieval system.
- Design and implement cost-efficient distributed infrastructure for model training.
- Create state-of-the-art streaming algorithms for processing extensive datasets, including deduplication and topic clustering.
- Enhance and maintain both existing and new code components; oversee production code and participate in deployment and quality assurance processes.
- Act as the technical lead throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle, focusing on system architecture and enhancements.
- Engage in prioritization, estimation, and sprint planning activities.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software within tight timelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as Pytorch, TensorRT, Onnx, and AWS Neuron, along with experience in optimizing deep learning models for various architectures.
- Over 2 years of relevant experience in system performance analysis and compiler optimizations.
- Strong knowledge of technologies like XLA, TVM, MLIR, LLVM, and deep learning algorithms.
- Understanding of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, software architecture, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
