Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist serves in a consultative/supportive role with staff, students, parents, and representatives from local districts and community agencies. This position is responsible for coordinating, developing, and implementing instructional programs within assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and develop instructional programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Provide consultative support to staff, students, parents, and community agencies
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Collaborate with local districts and community agencies to provide support services
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent experience in Special Education. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience, with at least two years in Special Education. Social Workers, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists must complete START training.
