Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional patient care in a clinical setting.

This role involves assisting patients with their health needs, administering medications, and supporting nurse practitioners with various clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients by conducting basic medical exams, measuring vital signs, and recording medical history.
  • Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting interactions and treatments.
  • Assist nurse practitioners and physicians with clinical tasks and procedures.
  • Educate patients on health management, medication instructions, and preventive care practices.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as wound care, specimen collection, and diagnostic tests.
  • Ensure continuity of care by coordinating with other healthcare providers.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Position Highlights:

  • Up to 38 hours per week
  • Weekdays: 10-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 7:30 PM)
  • Weekends: 7-8 hour shifts every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Typical workweek includes 2-3 weekdays plus every other weekend
  • Some major holidays and floating to nearby locations may be required

Compensation:

$33 per hour

Requirements:

  • Must hold an active LPN license in the State of OH
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a hospital, medical office/clinic, or urgent care setting
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • BLS Certification is required
