Job Title: Patient Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Proliance Surgeons. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors
  • Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and process necessary information
  • Answer multiline phone system, screen calls, and direct messages to appropriate staff or physicians
  • Enter personal health information and financial information into practice management system with high accuracy
  • Assist patients with check-in process, completion of paperwork, and review of records for completeness
  • Proactively communicate appointment status, wait times, and cancellations or rescheduling
  • Collect and post co-pays, coinsurances, pre-payments, and balances due on patient accounts
  • Facilitate patient flow by coordinating with medical assistants and clinical team
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years relevant experience in public contact, preferably in a medical office environment
  • Minimum 1-year front office or reception experience, medical preferred
  • Practice Management experience desired
