Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with peers, junior engineers, technicians, and external design partners to deliver the next generation of industry-standard server platforms.
- Ensure overall product functionality and meeting all applicable technical thermal specifications.
- Responsible for the overall thermal solution, creation of specification, design review and qualification, and testing and validation.
- Expert in thermal fluid dynamics and heat transfer, with ability to understand and interpret Computational Fluid Dynamics reports.
- Experience with system-level thermal design focusing on fan and heatsink technology, as well as system-level control logic.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to establish clear goals and formulate plans to achieve them.
- Bachelor's (Undergraduate), Master's (graduate) or Ph. D (post-graduate) degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of server thermal design experience.
- Experience in thermal and acoustics, as it relates to server products.
