Job Summary:

The Clinical Intern position at Ellie Mental Health is designed for Master's level interns to provide therapy services in an outpatient setting. You'll be part of a dynamic team that shares our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy in an outpatient setting, facilitate diagnostic assessments, create/implement treatment, and complete clinical documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with the team to further the mission of filling gaps in the community.
  • Participate in shadowing therapy sessions and diagnostic assessments, and meetings with the Intern Coordinator.
  • Remain in good standing with your graduate program's standards and maintain active enrollment in your internship's supervision course.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems, including collection of co-payments.
  • Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture.
