Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at an excellent school district in Millbrae, California. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise and passion for speech-language pathology while advancing your career.

About the Role:

This position will involve providing speech therapy and rehabilitation services to students in the school district. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Additionally, you will instruct students and families as needed, adapt conventional speech therapy techniques to meet their needs, and document all appropriate charting and paperwork accurately and legibly.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Provide individualized speech therapy and rehabilitation services to students
• Recognize indications and contradictions to treatment, modify treatment programs, and be familiar with normal and abnormal responses
• Instruct student/family as needed, adapt conventional speech therapy techniques to meet their needs
• Document concisely, accurately, and legibly all appropriate charting and paperwork

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have an active state license as a speech-language pathologist, current BLS/CPR certification, and 6 months of SLP experience within the last 5 years.
