Job Summary

The Customer Service Engineer serves as the primary point of contact for technical and service-related issues on a wide range of industrial, robotic, and printing equipment. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose electronic, mechanical, software, and system failures using established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial products, including printing and packaging equipment, cash recycling products, inserting and sorting machines, credit card attaching and processing systems, and robotics.
  • Schedule and perform regular predictive/preventive maintenance inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support to customers by managing parts inventory, customer service calls, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Foster positive customer relationships and a high degree of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively with customers and acting as a liaison between the customer and other departments/functions of the company.
  • May be required to provide on-call level of service up to seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day for emergency customer assistance.
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training with 1+ years related industry/equipment experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong electronics and mechanical background, understanding of computer program functionality, and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a controlled office, retail, and manufacturing environment with acceptable noise levels and use of standard and specialized hand, power, and diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds.
  • Requires walking and standing, using hands to feel objects, reaching, and balance.
  • Ability to work in small, cramped areas and elevated environments up to twenty (20) feet.
