Job Summary
As a Roofing Sales Team Leader, you will oversee and mentor a group of roofing Sales Representatives, guiding them to meet sales objectives and enhance business development. Your primary responsibility will be to coach and empower the sales team to optimize their performance and surpass key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Metrics Management:
Conduct bi-weekly reports and share insights during sales meetings to communicate KPI data. Set and monitor KPI goals for the team, identifying success and areas for improvement through pipeline reviews. - Coaching for Performance:
Provide hands-on coaching to elevate the sales team's performance. Review appointments and inspections to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, and conduct ride-alongs to offer targeted support. - Motivational Climate:
Engage with the team to assess their mindset, providing guidance to maintain motivation and focus. Cultivate a positive work atmosphere that encourages achievement and collaboration through team-building activities. - Team Building:
Hold one-on-one sessions to understand individual needs and concerns, maintaining open communication to offer support. Create a fun and secure office culture that promotes productivity and success. - Sales Leadership:
Lead by example by actively participating in appointments and canvassing efforts. Follow up with potential clients to capture opportunities and support the sales representatives. - Administrative Duties:
Develop and maintain necessary documentation and systems to support the sales team. Oversee the recruitment process for new sales representatives and generate innovative marketing ideas to enhance team performance.
