Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team at Argus Technical. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to customer RFQs, supporting the building of new assemblies, and initiating engineering changes to assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer RFQs and provide timely and accurate responses
  • Support the building of new assemblies and initiate engineering changes to assemblies as needed
  • Assist production leadership in resolving manufacturing-related issues, including review of production labor standards and manufacturing capacity analysis
  • Initiate production-related continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical componentry related to wire harness production
Requirements
  • Ability to conceptualize and interpret customer drawings
  • Ability to read and use electrical schematics
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong math skills and understanding of workflow and time studies
  • Knowledge of ShopWorx (or similar ERP) and aptitude for working with new systems and software
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with MSWord and Outlook
  • 2-year associate's degree or 3 years of electronics work experience preferred
