Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Assistant to join our team at Good Samaritan Society - Waconia. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record proper food temperatures to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Set up and maintain a clean and sanitized serving area, ensuring a positive dining experience for our residents
  • Prepare and serve food items, restocking food areas as needed
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Receive payment for food and beverages using a computerized register, providing excellent customer service to our residents

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 16 years of age
  • Previous customer service experience, retail counting, and reconciliation of money
  • Knowledge of food service and safety procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
  • Basic math skills
