Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve shipping and receiving efficiency, reducing costs and increasing productivity
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve shipping and receiving issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and control budgets for shipping and receiving operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive supervisory experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
