We are affiliated with UCSF as a teaching institution and prioritize research and ongoing education in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and communicate insurance and benefits information in a timely manner.
- Facilitate financial clearance processes and ensure the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance details for precise claims submission.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient registrations, insurance verifications, authorization notifications, data entry, and additional related tasks.
- Uphold quality patient and customer relations through various operational duties.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is required. A minimum of four years of experience as a Patient Access Specialist or in a comparable role is essential.
