Wastewater Treatment Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring effective treatment of wastewater from diverse sources.
  • Manage personnel matters, including training, discipline, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve water quality and reduce environmental impact.
  • Supervise and train wastewater treatment operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement budgets and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; five years of experience in wastewater treatment field preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of stakeholders or employees of organization.
