Job Description

As a Certified Medicine Aide at Genesis Healthcare LLC, you will play a critical role in administering medications and providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Preparing and administering routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by physicians and documenting administration according to policy">
  • Maintaining medication supplies, cleaning and restocking medicine carts and the medicine room">
  • Notifying the pharmacy of new medication orders and refills">
  • Performing accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • ">
  • A state-approved medication aide training course completion">
  • A state-approved certified nursing assistant training program completion">
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant with at least one year of experience as a CNA">
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to ensure patient safety and well-being">
