Clinical Nurse

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a proactive and compassionate nurse, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Our team is committed to excellence in patient care, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated RN Clinical Nurse to join our MedSurg - Central Delivery Unit at Cobb Hospital. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care, using evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others (as appropriate) using effective communication methods, such as bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time and planned patient teaching.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards, coordinating the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.

- Participate and support performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care, including initiating and/or leading such activities.
Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Required. Bachelor's Degree Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing: Preferred.
Minimum 10 years of current direct patient care experience: Required.
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact: Required. Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor: Required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional: Required.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s)National certification in area of specialty: Preferred.
