Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Plainfield, IN. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination of warehouse operations, maintaining a safe working environment, and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient Coordination: Manage operations across various areas, including Inbound, Outbound, and Kitting, to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Safety Advocacy: Commit to HSE standards and proactively report hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and address non-conforming materials to minimize costs and enhance product quality.
  • Effective Delivery: Accurately receive, sort, and store goods to optimize warehouse space and meet customer expectations.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your team and support staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to improve processes, material flow, and employee development to drive operational excellence.
  • Flexibility and Support: Be adaptable and perform miscellaneous duties as needed to meet business goals and support overall operations.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University, or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced-level computer skills.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

Logistics and Warehousing experience preferred, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management.
