As a member of our expanding 30-bed Neuroscience ICU, you will collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including Neurological Intensivists, who offer personalized teaching in both individual and group formats. Key procedures you will engage in include the placement of external ventricular drains, ICP monitoring, line placements, and lumbar drain management, all of which are integral to our team's expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance your clinical skills and participate in educational training to qualify for additional certifications in Neuroscience (e.g., ENLS, CCRN, CRRT, Trauma Care).
- Engage in professional development opportunities within the clinical nurse ladder.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 in the ICU, ensuring high-quality care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Valid RN license in California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
