Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at National Spine & Pain Centers. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our Providers and patients by managing daily patient flow and serving as a liaison between them.
  • Effectively communicate clinical messages to our Providers and relay responses to patients.
  • Prepare and maintain exam, procedure, and recovery rooms to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  • Take and record patients' vital signs, noting any changes or concerns.
  • Complete accurate documentation for patient charts, including diagnostic studies, medications, and Provider orders.
  • Provide patients with necessary discharge instructions, educational materials, and dietary requirements.
Requirements
  • A high school degree or equivalent education and training.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or completion of EMT-B training courses or above, required. CMA and/or RMA certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with EMR and/or Electronic Practice Management systems and technologies.
