Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Hobart Service. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for electrically and mechanically troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment. Responsibilities- Work with customers to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with commercial kitchen equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and mechanical principles
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration units
- Meet or exceed weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service
To be successful as a Service Technician, you should have:
- An accredited High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- A valid Driver's License and the ability to drive multiple hours daily
- The ability to work overtime and on-call as required
- The willingness to attend industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
- Excellent customer service skills
